2008 WGI Independent A Finals Review:
Things went from gloomy to bright in a hurry for Interplay (MI) (Silver Medal- 95.3) with “The Rain Is Gone”. The entire guard was wearing black raincoats at the start, but once the music to “I Can See Clearly Now” began, the rainwear came off (even during equipment tosses!), and the UD Arena crowd was treated to an almost perfect performance that connected emotionally with the crowd with what may be the feel-good show of the year which took first place in the Movement caption.

2008 Indy Power Regional Review:
Pull out your sunglasses, the performance wattage driving Interplay (1 -- 89.50) demands it. The Grand Rapids, Michigan guard -- and long-time WGI competitor -- brought a wide open, unfettered design and mindset to the sunniest program ever performed in black. From the opening “downpour,” to the richly layered triad of equipment arcs, the thrilling all rifle sequence, to the exuberant ending; this might just be what harnessing solar energy is all about.
